when I play a cassette I can hear the sound but there is no image. the image would appear after some hours before. But now , even after some hour there is no image. only a gray screen with noise. (the sockets are connected correctly.)
Im not saying that this IS whats wrong 100%,but it sounds to me like the tape heads need cleaning.Have you taken the lid off and cleaned the heads with some white spirit and a soft lint free cloth?
