if it is firing, try to ckeck if the main relay is activating the fuel pump for the start, you do this by putting the key on the on position but not starting the car, then loose a little the bolt that connects the main fuel line on the fuel rail, if it shoots gas the either the main relay and the fuel pump are working, if not, the cheaper is to clean the main relay contacts or to replace it, if you buy a new fuel pump without checking the relay, it possibly be that the old pump was working and the main is the one that must be replaced. If it shoots fuel but still don't start try to check if the igniton is firing properly, if not, t could be the ignition module.
