Mend High Carb Cleaned

lawn mower speed varies from high to low (carb. been clean)?

how do i fix my mower. my carbs. been cleaned and new filter.
my speed levers broke, but never had a problem mowing last year. my mowers speed varies from high to low, and sometimes
cuts out.

I will try tohelp If I can. What kind of motor is it? There are two springs that attach to the carb. Both are controled or conterl the govener to keep the motor from whats called running away. This keeps the motor from doing damage it's selfAnd it sounds like that you have the springs hooked up backwards. Of course this depends on the type of motor. So let me know this and I will be glad to lend a hand.
