Ford Ford ZX2 Vehicles, Cars 2001 Ford Escort

Check the owners manual if you have it.If it has a electric interlock switch there may be a blown fuse.The manual should say how to bypass the interlock switch so you can at least drive it till you can get it fixed.If all else fails call dealer and ask how to bypass it.
