Mend Fixed Light Flashing

can it be fixed and data retrieved?

My usb pen has stopped being detected on the computer and the light isnt flashing on the pen therefor i cant get anything off it. I did have a magnetic braclet on my wrist. Could this of done the harm? can i get back my files? Intitially the pen worked.
