Mend Mira Excel Shower Power House

Our Mira Excel powere shower has lost it's power and only trickles out?

There was a mira excell power shower installed in the house when we moved in during Feb 1st 2007. It has worked fine up until Christmas day when it suddenly lost all power and the water only trickles out now. We are both disabled and need a shower to maintain out cleanliess. Advice please, as to what the problem could be???

mira exel is not a power shower it's a thermostatic shower valve.
but may have a pump to give greater pressure/flow.
check the pump is cutting in when mixer turned on.
