Throttle cable for McCulloch?

i have got a mcCulloch stermmer it will run for a few min and cut is it 2 do with the carb its an mt300x

I repaired mine by purchasing a front brake cable from a cycle shop for £1.99 put the ball end in the throtte lever end, run the cable to the engine end and cut it about 3.5cm too long. find a small nut and bolt and drill ths shaft at the head end of the bolt about the same diameter of the cable. feed the cable through the throttle on the egine then the bolt. slid the bolt to the lever and tighten up the nut.
