When you are indicating you probably about to stop or approaching to turn a corner or changing lane on a motor way. The first two examples might involve pressing the brake and the third example your cruise control is engaged on a motorway( if you have one fitted). The fourth example is when you are corner reversing. So all of them involved something else while indicating . If any of these caused your indicator to flash faster in means ( in may case ) there is a short between the terminals causing other things. If pressing the break causing you signal indicator to flash faster then check your break light terminals, if reversing check your reverse light terminals . if the bulbs are ok they are probably ok. there are no big science behind it they either on or off . What you need to check are those wire connectors they have tiny wires next to each other, any twist on the wire they will touch each other if they are not secured enough.
In my case this terminal shorts caused to
1. Disengage my cruise control when indicating to the left thinking im pressing the break.
2. Fast indicator when breaking.
3. Fast indicator when corner reversing
Simple solution , dont let those tiny terminal wires touch each other , untwist them if needed. I didnt spend a penny when i fixed mine , i just loosen the wire tension and put everything back together. Now its problem solved .
