Mend Vaillant VCW GB 242 Combi Central Heating Boiler

How do I get my boiler to cut off ?

I have a valliant combi boiler VCW GB 242, the hot water doesn't cut out any more but continues running even after the hot water tap is turned off, I am currently having to turn it off via the mains switch. The central heating has also stopped working, does anybody have any idea what could need replacing, seems like I will have to call somebody in.

sounds like diverter valve may be sticking and keeping flow switch depressed, not moving back to ch mode, diaphragm may need replaced.
