help i have read all the q & a on dyson notorious hose, however i cant even get the clip off to trime the hose. ive tried to force the clip with scew drivers but the plastic seems to want to split,any ideas
If a DC07 hose is under 4yrs old Dyson will replace it free as a good will gesture. Saves all the hassle. The old one will split again anyway.

Its a swine of a job basicaly you need 2 strong people small screwdriver & pliers while one person pushes the little tit on the side of collar with screwdriver the other pulls hose firmly with pliers once it moves 2 to 3 mil keep pulling with pliers while other person pushes tit on the oposite side once that moves 2 to 3 mil you should be able to pull hose end out.
I fix these for a living and hate it when a customer wants end fixed rather than new hose.
