Hi I have a White Knight Compact dual heat and the drum has started not to turn. I can hear it trying to turn but nothing happening. The only way I can get it to turn is if I rotate the drum hand a few times before using it then it seems to work fine. It has also stopped it mid drying. I wonder if the belt needs replacing is this possible on these machines. Not found any sites with replacement belts for these machines. Thanks for any advice.
start capacitor could be faulty. gives fault just like you describe.found on side of motor

most belt can be replaced, simply remove the back and reveal the motor/drum belt, you should be able to see if the belt is worn,
If it has trouble starting to turn, you may be over filling it. hope this helps, if the motor is on the way out you will hear heavy whining as the motor is straining.
