Astra 1.4 GLS 1993 Engine Control Indicator comes on?
My Astra 1.4 GLS 1993 ( Petrol ) Engine Control Indicator dashboard light keeps coming on & off when driving it stays on for approx 3-4 mins and then goes out after a while it then comes back on again, can anyone please tell me the cause and how to economically fix this problem Please.
Your engine light usually comes on when an engine sensor is not relaying the correct signal to the ecu. Its could be any of the sensors malfunctioning. The best way to find out is to analyse the fault code from the ecu... You can either go to a vauxhall dealer and they cound tell you or do it at home. Here is a link to a guide.
