Mend Working Order Started

it only starts when it wants to ????

i have just put a new clutch on as the old 1 was no longer in working order the bike started the 1st few times like a dream no it only starts as and when it wants how do i sort it out ??? the other thing is a lot of petrol comes out the bottom of the carb how do i stop this ???? thanks gary

To stop the fuel flooding out, take the carb. off the bike and remove the float chamber. The needle valve above the float controls the petrol supply and for some reason, usually dirt, is stuck open.
