Mend Renault Megane Lock Reg Drivers Door

how do you fix a spinning lock?

I'm trying to fix my wifes V reg renault megane 1.4 the drivers door lock is spinning. I have taken the interior panel off but not sure how to get the lock off. can anyone help?

I've got the same problem although i've got the lock off by simply removing the 2 torx bolts holding the black plastic runner in place around it & then twisting the white plastic surround which holds the lock in place...

I've got my lock out however can't see why its just spinning, help ?
