Mend Hotpoint CTD40 Aquarius Drum

How can I fix my Hotpoint Aquarius CTD40?

It is making a "groaning" noise when the drum stops and then restarts in the opposite direction. I have removed the back and there is a black plastic fan which seems to be root of the problem - it shudders to a stop. Any advice on root cause or how to replace?

the black fan is loose and needs replacing see local spares dealer; the fan should be a very tight fit:there should be a clip over it if not thats why it's spinning if there is one ask for a replacement clip as well as it's has lost its tension
