singer sewing machine, model 4562?

i was sewing, and my bobbin case jumped off track. i put it back in, and put the bobbin in, the way i thought it should go.every time i sew, i hear rattling noise. i don't think i have the case in properly. i am constantly adjusting the bobbin case when it stops sewing. if i could see a diagram of how the case is suppose to fit, i could possible fix it.

Singer Singer 4562 Household Appliances, Sewing Machines Singer Sewing Bobbin

I was given this machine today. It runs but both the needle thread and bobbin thread break after I sew about a foot. Any ideas? I tried to download a free manual but it would not. my email is tlvr_bsr at ya hoo com

MY MACHINE IS NOT PICKING UP THE TREAD FROM THE BOBBIN. WAS REMOVING BOBBIN AND A SMALL LOOPED METAL WAS LAYING IN CASE WHERE DOES IT GO OR DID IT BREAK OFF OF SOMETHING COULD FIND ANY THING THAT IT BROKE FROM.

sorry, i don't have an answer for you, but i do have a question. which needles do you use in your 4562? I was given this sewing machine and i find that style 2045 is too long of a needle. can you help me out?

Hello Wanda,
I think you may have the black apollo bobbin case, it should slide on quite easily but it sounds like the metal finger on the top right hand side that holds the bobbin case in is loose, make sure the screw is tight, when you have the bobbin case in push it with your thumb to the left and look at the gap that the thread passes through, there should be anough space for the thickest thread to pass through normall a number 40, if the gap is too wide the bobbin case will jump out. drivewithken@blueyonder.co.uk
