how can i replace the cable on my hedge trimmer?

Dead easy. Unplug it first! Unscrew the side panels (generally 6/7 Pozidrive screws) and lift it away. You may have to unscrew the guard if it has one....may be Allen screw, also you may need to unscrew the blades before the side will lift away. Very easy. With the side panel off, you'll be able to see how the cable is attached. The ends usually slide into a little plastic block. With a tiny screwdriver, you can get them out and replace with the new cable. Very easy job all round. Have a go....you can't go far wrong. Unplug it first though!!
