Mend Dyson DC07 Vacuum Cleaner Dc07

cant get hose out to change(DC07)?

read all the instuctions on how to alter a split hose, however i cant get get the hose loose from the small head, tried small scewdrivers, but seems to split the plastic, any tips on how to open the two housings without breaking

the flexi hode is easy to remove,

1 Remove the wand and the cyclone and clear bin

2 Above the duxt filter base the bin sits on is a small coloured dot with a lock symbol on it press this and then behind pull the tab backing onto the upright and remove

3 The hose is nor removable
