Anybody know where to source spare parts for these units in the uk. I am trying to fix my gearbox on my contax c600 as the dealer wants £600 pounds for a new unit

Absolutly nowhere, bits are like rocking horse poo, suppose they expect you to buy a new unit, thats not happening i will convert it to manual first, good old peerless, bad old tuff torque,
