Mend Cistern Handle Flush

My cistern handle stays down when flushis pushed?

Every time the flush handle is pushed down on the cistern, it stays down. If you pull it back up, it flushes as normal but stays down again! Any suggestions please.

D.I.Y, Toilets Cistern Handle Flush

Thanks Hi- spec plumbing. Took it apart and the handle was all scaled up in the sleeve. Stripped and cleaned it. Now working perfectly! Thanks again.

theres a spring in the syphon maybe faulty or all the mech is scaled up causing it to stick.
