Kenwood A901 Food mixer speed controller platform?

What is correct adjustment proceedure for the two spring loaded screws securing the edge of the plastic moulding? As found, the platform is not level/parrallel to end housing on motor and the gap setting is not known by me.

Not sure of the exact measurement for the centrifugal switch platform, but it is in the region of 15mm.
