My sink hot water tap has stopped turning,it will move half a turn then stop.Not sure if its the washer that's gone or something else.? Would appreciate some advice thanks.
John could be right, or the tap has come a part in side easy to fix but hard to tell you sorry

The washer will have torn and its starting to jam up....water off, drain down if necessary, remove the tap top, followed by the larger brass hexagon beneath. Unscrew this to reveal the offending washer.
