I need to dissasemble my Braun blender mod 4166 for inspection and finding cause of malfunction.
There are no apparent points (es. screws ) to open it and the case tends to break if forced.
Can any one suggest how to proceed?
They are fairly easy to disassemble/reassemble, as mentioned earlier just remove the two plugs to access the screws
I replaced the semi-conductor hoping that would fix the fault, but sadly not, I guess after nearly 40 years of regular use it's fair to retire it now

I followed the previously mentioned steps that were described by John through removing the two plastic plugs beside the speed dial and it worked well.

Dig out the two plastic plugs on top; there are screws underneath.

Hi, This unit was never meant to be opened and if you try it will probably break. As it doesn't work you don't have much to lose?? The lid/cap section at the top where the cable goes in in theory will snap off. I don't really think you will successful but good luck.
