potterton profile ignition?

My Potterton Profile 80e runs but will not ignite, the fan is running but no spark or ignition. The fault is intermittent and if left with the thermo wheel turned off for a while and then turned round to 3or 4 it will ignite however fault reccurs after a few days. I have tried the rest but this makes no difference. Any suggestions
