My proform 520 treadmill stops running when you step on it?

My proform 520 treadmill belt is skipping badly? Can you help. I just bought it two years ago.

my belt slips on my 520 proform treadmill after im on it for 3 to 5 minutes. any suggestions ?

I just had my Proform repaired. My problem was one of the plastic connections on the end of the treadmill was cracked. If you are using the treadmill it would be the two plastic pieces behind you. He put some type of screw on the left one so I didn't have to replace it. Eventually I will. The belt was leaning toward the left before I had it repaired. The repairman said after five years you should change the belt. I didn't need to do that yet. If you live in the L.A. area the repair person is Eric. The number is 310 489-0200. Cheaper than a company. I'm glad mine works because I like using it.
