Why does my Hoover Whisper HD98E dishwasher flash wih an E1 error message?
My Hoover Whisper HD98E dishwasher flashes an E1 error message and does not work. Is there a list corresponding to the error messages any where? If not can anyone suggest what needs doing?
i have same problem hoover advised me to use dishwashher cleeaner and salt as well as rinse aid. has got better but still intermittent. will keep you posted

The manual says the water supplyis turned off when you get an E1 messsage
Doubt thats your problem as i guess you know if that was the case

Hi I have a HD98E Diswasher and the manual says E1 error message means the water supply is off. Hope this helps.

I have the same error message. The Manual ststes that it is a water fill error. After about 8 minutes of washing the "E1" error message happens. If you turn the machine off, open the door and then start it again it works fine, until the next wash.
