how do you format a mp4 player???

i just got my mp4 player and i listened to it all day after i got music on it and i turned it off for a while and when i went to turn it back on it said disk error on all the things but not on the fm radio or system setup but how do i format it??? please help....

Select player in windows/My Computer right click and select Format
Try Formatting in Fat 1st then if no joy use the Fat32 option
