Aiko Tv Model A6910 Audio Low?

Disconnect D603. As far as I can tell this section of circuit disables sound whilst no signal is present. Not quite sure. It seems to have no other relevance.

Peter I have the same problem - I disconnected the two diodes that are on the DC volume control to the TDA7057AQ Audio output IC (pins 1 & 7) and it came good - this was after I fitted a new IC to no avail. There appears to be a relative short after them which I could not pin down as I don't have the CCTs. Did you find the actual culprit??
