how can I fix my sears kenmore mod 116.23813300 vacuum cleaner?

is a parts list available on-line? Two problems: (1) Bottom end of the hose, where it plugs into the canister body-- and has 3 electrical contact rings for electrical connection to the body-- won't stay in place; something missing or broken at that end of the hose?? (2) Plastic tube (where the "wand" that has the handle and hose attached SHOULD connect to the power rug sweeper) appears to be missing a part (?)which would hold the wand to the sweeper-- the sweeper cannot be "driven" with the wand because the mechanical connection isn't right. Every time one pulls backward on the wand the whole wand/power sweeper connection falls apart! Without even a parts list, or good diagram, I don't know WHAT it needs!
