how to stop my outdoor 1000ltr IBC tank from freezing this winter ?
I have a reverse osmosis system which feeds pure water to my 1000ltr IBC tank in the garden how can I stop both from freezing when the temp drops below -1c.
You can get insulation jackets for Ibc tanks fairly easily or make your own out of celotex, jablite, or spaceblanket used in buildings. Cheapest but labour intensive alternative is to bury it in the ground.
