My tumble dryer keeps turning off we change the fuse and it's okay for a day or so then goes again ??

If the fuse blows again, take that blown fuse and check it is actually blown by putting it in the plug of another electrical item you know works properly and switch that on to double check the suspected fuse has actually blown or not. If it has indeed blown, check that you are using 13amp fuses as replacements.
If your drier is blowing 13amp fuses, you have a potentially dangerous electrical fault and you should get your drier checked by a qualified engineer. Hotpoint driers are well know to cause house fires and not worth risk of this.
If you find that the fuse is not blown, I would suspect a bad connection in the wall socket, and the action of you pulling plug out to change fuse can hide this problem. Next time, try plugging into a different socket and see if this helps.
If your drier has been making funning noises when running recently, check the rear bearing has not worn out - on the back of the machine, halfway up, there is a metal cover you can remove. If you can see lots of black dust behind this cover, you will need to replace the bearing.
