Hi, I've been presented with this very issue myself. Seems in addition to the torx bolts, the lid is sealed into position with a sticky mastic. So...
!. Note the alloy 'tongues' on the right-hand long side of the duct
2. Standing to the side of the machine, lean across and over. Take the lip of the duct lid - the side which runs alongside the soap tray dispenser, that is, the side which doesn't feature aforementioned 'tongues' - with your fingertips. Now wiggle / pull the lid upwards and towards you. DON"T tear your fingernails off! It took patience and determination, but it worked. Yes, you could probably lever it with a stout screwdriver or similar, but I wasn't sure I was doing it the right way and didn't want to damage or bend anything.
Ok, once you've succeeded in prising the lid open a wee bit, you can then shimmy it to the side until it's free of those alloy tongues. Some of the loom is anchored in on those tongues: just pinch in the fastenings and move them aside to clear the way - just remember to return the loom into position on reassembly.
Others online discovered felted lint inside the duct. I did not. There was a fair bit of scale and muck in there, so I gave it a good going-over with a scraper whilst vacuuming with a crevice tool.
