Hi I have a zanussi jet system 1400 7kg?

I started my washing machine and wanted to add one more item in I pressed pause the door would not open at first . I turn it off , left it for a while and tried to started again. It is struck on the programme and want work . I have unplugged it and left it for a long while but it's struck , please help. I have baby clothes in it
