hitachi ur18dsl dab radio switching to am?

Hi,

My hitachi ur18dsl keeps switching itself back to "am" and also the volume keeps turning down to 0. It's as if the left side of the control buttons are all permanently stuck down.

Would anyone be able to help with this at all? Thanks in advance
