How to fix my central locking on my Vauxhall Astra 1.6 twinport ?

The central locking on my Vauxhall Astra 1.6 twinport won't work. I press the button on the key and it doesn't do anything and the fob on the key is fine as had it checked.
The car starts ok.
When the key is removed from the ignition, the radio stays on (when it should go off) and when you open the drivers door there is a beeping sound like when you leave your lights on.
It's driving me mad. Please help!

had same problem with my zafira, i had to remove egnition barrel look down back there is a pin that gets stuck clean it out make the hole bigger with drill bit or small screwdriver make sure the pin moves in and out. that should do it, it took me 2 month to figger out

One thing worth checking is when you take your key out of the ignition the centre should pop out,had internal springs broken in the ignition sw. If it doesn`t it can affect the c/locking,good luck.
