2013 Ford Focus SE e;ectronis and key were working then not why?

I just purchased a 2013 Ford Focus SE and at the dealership we went over everything to insure it was working properly. The car had to be moved to a handicap modification shop to have hand controls installed. When the car arrived there the radio, menu, everything on the center panel wasn't working immediately after arriving there. The date and time reverted back to a date in 2013, it is now 2016 and not even the clock reset works. I just picked up the car and drove it for the first time and this is how I discovered that nothing was working. Also after the car and been put into the shop where the hand controls were installed the next time they went to move it the key was not recognized and my car had to be towed to a Ford Dealership to have a new chip key made. Reading the owners manual it appears the car should have an administrator key and a "My Key" in order to fully operate the car. I do not have the key with the lock push button or the panic button, I have a key that you can only lock by using the key in the door and turning it not the electronic key you expect. Why would the radio and all the electronics work when gone over at the dealership and then once it was driven to the shop that does the hand control installation and turned off, nothing works not even the key? This is overwhelming in itself but I am also having to deal with worsening health issues as well. Please tell me it is a simple fix.
