panel does not stay open?

I have a 1 year old integrated extractor hood. For about 3 weeks the front panel to open the hood keeps closing itself. I have to pull down the sides of the panels each time to keep it in place. Can someone please tell me how to fix this? Are there some screws that might be loose from keeping it into place?
