I moved into this house a short while ago and haven't quite figured out the heating system. Its danfoss and from google believe its the rx1. It was all working until yesterday i can't get it to be on the program instead of channel ... (being truthful i dont understand the channel at all so usually have it on programme for it to come on a few hours morning and few hours evening to take the chill off the place)
Ive tried turning it off for a little while and back on, ive tried new batteries in the thermostat on the wall and re 'learn' pressing the button under the thermostat dial and then the programme and channel buttons together on the rx1. The green light flashes so thats all working and if i turn the dial on thermostat up the channel kicks the heating on too and a red light is next to the channel option. If i press the programme button though nothings happening the red lights not coming on to show its set on programme instead of channel. On the programming box the 24hr dial is still going around for the time of day but its not coming on at the times selected when its on 'twice' even if i put it on 'all day' the heating doesnt come on like it usually does?
I hope this makes sense to somebody i have absolutely no idea!!!
Thankyou i have just asked an expert on the website link hopefully they can give me an idea how to sort it out. I really should learn a bit more about it!
