Last night I must have entered an extra digit when returning home and the alarm began to ring. I tried the right code several times to no avail, eventually the code worked. The unit now shows the error message above.
a) How best to stop it ringing should I make a similar mistake in the future?
b) How do I clear the error code?
press 99 enter the panel will ask you if you want to leave the engineering mode press the tick it should go back to the day mode then all is well

if thats the casekey in 07890 worth a try follow what ever the key pad tells you to do if it says leave the engineering mode say yes press the tick press the key till it gets to leave the engineering mode

key in your pin number again if that not work then its looking for the engineering code

gts thanks - I assume a tick is the same as clear.
I tried your suggestion but now it flashes between "R01 Excess Keys" & "Reset Required".
