DVD system for 2003 elgrand?

I now understand why my Japanese import dvd system is not working.so in order for me to get the system working can somebody tell me what type of DVD player I can install so I can take advantage of the screens in the vehicle.i am in South Africa.how would I go about installing said DVD player.any info will be appreciated
