How can I fix my dual vcr dvd recorder?

If the tray does not open it's the belt under the tray that's loose. That has to be replaced.To do this you first have to open the tray and take off the front plastic guard by snapping it upward,in order to remove front panel. (Some trays will fit through front panel) Then remove front panel, be carefull of the flex cable or other wire connector.Remove 4 screws that hold dvd in place.Flip it over and you will be able to see the belt that needs to be replaced.T remove the tray there are 2 clips on each side that have to be moved outward.Do this when tray is fully extended.with that done you can now replace the belt.

take a look for a very small pin hole just next or under the dvd door , if there is one there, stick a pin into the hole and the dvd drawer will pop open,
