Old Hotpoint Mistral frost free fridge freezer, intelligent care. The freezer is ok but the fridge says +12 & won't keep cool. What can I do to try & fix it?
hi my mum had the same problem,her "frost free" freezer uses the cold air from freezer to cool fridge.so a block of ice had blocked the vent so to speak .try to defrost for 24-48 hours, otherwise you may need to take off the panels, which in my mums case is located inside at the back of freezer.all working now.hope this helps.

try manually defrosting it for 24hrs with both doors left open then start it up and see if it works.if it does but fails again soon after it could be an auto defrost issue which will require someone with a multimeter to test various components
