Hi Clare,
I have the 44"tw 611 s with the same problem but it will no longer come on,you will find the green light is flashing a self diagnoses code i,e,6 flashes to 1 flash or 8 flashes to 9 flashes.
I contacted Thompson via there web site email, they will recommend a repair shop.Unfortunately for me it was to far for me,i am still trying to get repaired locally.
