Hoover Wash Machine DYN9164DPG displays Error Code E05?

Error Code E05 - OK, I checked the temp sensor connections and found one broken (not surprising, it's single solid strand cable!).
Q: Do I need a special tool to remove the broken piece of cable in the connector, and to remake the connection?
