whats gone wrong ?

Hi , Thank you for your reply, The fan works and will blow cold air the timer still works but as soon as i turn the temp dial the electic trips do i need to call out somebody or can i sort this myself ? also the bulb has blown will this make a difference to the oven working or not?

An electrical component is shorting to earth - the trip is a safety precaution in case there's a fault in the earth circuit and a person is acting as the earth conductor - it may be the fan or something else but heating elements are the weak link in electric ovens - probably a defective element in the oven - shorted to earth.
