How do you eject the cd when CDR 500 is in SAFE mode?

Have tried all the Vauxhall websites to find out how to get it out of Safe mode, to no avail. It is showing 7 SAFE and will not let me enter a code.

So need to eject the CD that is inside it, whilst it is in SAFE mode. If need be, will dismantle the poxy thing as its the wife's favourite cd.....

Vauxhall Audio, In-Car Audio Cd 500 Safe

1)turn on the cd player then hold AS button
2)put keys in ignition stil with AS depressed and turn keys 2 clicks
3)when you hear a beep release AS button and type in code
4)press and hold AS button again and it should work fine
