Where/how can I get my 2 Pfaff 1473 circuit boards repaired?

I have 2 Pfaff 1473 sewing machines. 2nd one just gave up, so I thought I'll try to repair both. Without going into detail, Here is how they perform:
Machine A computer/controller appears to work, boots normally, control functions work. However, the foot pedal will not function, absolutely no when pressing down on the pedal. Tried known pedal, same result.
Machine B Computer/controller works all functions work, EXCEPT I need to unplug the connector for the bobbin cover at the motherboard before machine will run. If the connector in plugged into its socket, machine will turn about 10-20 degree and controller resets. I switched in another good bobbin lid and it does the same thing. (THis is the plastic white cover that covers the full bobbin area) Once its unplugged, machine does everything normally. THis has me stumped. Any help you can supply is appreciated, and I can supply more details if needed.
