how to sort out apart of Windows 2000 XP Professional that is missing?

I have Windows 2000 XP Perfessional when it says updates ready I click on it and at the end it brings up a window saying some updates could not be installed.then it gives you all the details what it can't update. I also get a Service manager report come up on my screen diffrent times and that says Service Manager t8expexdll is missing. I have tried every thing to correct this but I can't as Mircosoft is no longer dealing with Windows XP.
I have tried to doSystem restore but when that is done a window comes up and tells me Restoration Incoplete. I have searched the web for a program that might be able to help me but most tell me to place my disk into my PC and floow instructions on the screen. I can't do this because my PC came with all my stuff loaded up for me and I have no CD's for any thing.I am frightened that if I do any thing and it is wrong I will loose every thing I have on my PC. There is Family Tree Loads of Photo's You name it it's on there. Plus my PC is My Life Line and I have had some big op's and since 2011 and still going up and down the Hospital so every thing I need I have to do online even my Shopping as I can't go out my house only by Ambulance when go to Hospital. So you see I really need my PC working Correctly. The Ideal thing would be to have is a disk for Windows 2000 XP professional so I could reloaded it onto my PC. But no-one seams to have one any where. Even a copy whould be could. I can't go out to the shops, and if I could have not got the money to do that as only have sick money. So I am hoping that someone some where can come up with a CD or some Idea. That I could sort withpout loosing every thing I have on PC Thank You So Much if Someone Cam Help Me
