no hot water?

hi,not sure wether you can help. my worcester 28i junior combi is not giving me hot water.it runs very hot for a few seconds then boiler cuts out,the heating is fine. the ignition light comes back on after a few seconds if the heating is on,it happened last year but seemed to clear itself.
