broken central locking for 206?

I have a problem trying to lock my 206. I have a 1 button plip key and every time I try to lock the car, it locks and then unlocks straight away. I can do it manually but I can't lock the boot as it is only central locking. I've tried all the reconfiguration methods but nothing will work. Anyone know what the problem could be?
